Introduction
By Gerard Arkenbout

Everyone Hello

My name is Gerard. C. Arkenbout and I live in Leidschendam near The Hague in the Netherlands. I've been interested in historical instrumentation and electronics.

I am a member of the Museum Committee of the Physical and Electronics Laboratory of TNO-FEL in The Hague. The history of that Laboratory started in 1927 to support the Netherlands Defence

A former colleague of mine, a specialist in constructions and mechanics, ask me to meet the people of the automatic-music users group, while he found the address of the group in the magazine "Het Pierement" in Holland. For he also has experience in renovating old music-boxes and zithers, he is now constructing and copying the 60 string automatic playing Zither "CORDEPHONE" made in Germany. In the request part for this user group I will specify an other question about this instrument.

I will thank Jody for his gracefull meeting for this group.

Bye for now,

Gerard.
