Universal Player Piano Schematic
By John A. Tuttle

Good Day All,

I am in need of the schematic diagram for the Universal Player, Model No. P-2. Serial No. 8694. Any leads would be appreciated. If you know where I can get the entire Service Manual, that would also be helpful.

I was able to trouble shoot the problem down to the circuit board. One of the defective components is R22A, a resistor. Unfortunately, it's burned/discolored beyond certain recognition. It looks like a 1-watt resistor (5/8" X 3/8") but of foreign origin (not symmetrical like U.S. 1W. It looks like the ones I used to buy when I lived in Spain and two of the pots have PIHER SPAIN stamped into the plastic.)

Musically, John Tuttle
