Tuftane Pouches
By John A. Tuttle

Hi Everyone,

Just so everyone understands my feelings on the matter, I do not like to see "plastic" in musical instruments. It might be said that I never met a piece of plastic that I liked. Period.

Whether or not tuftane lives up to the claims of the chemists only time will tell.

I can also say that there are people in the manufacturing end of the business who share my feelings. However, their hands are tied by their superiors who are primarily interested in the bottom line and there is no doubt that plastic pouches are cheaper to produce that leather.

Musically, John Tuttle
