Themodist Problems
By David Blake

Ref my earlier notes. The Stanley Brinsmead restoration is progressing on the mechanical side such that it will now play a role, because of the lack of tuning on the piano it sounds like "Les Dawson" rendition, though this may only be relevant to your English contributors.

The problem I am now having is with the Themodist which appears to be called the Triumphodist on the Brinsmead.

With it off the piano will play but with it on the hammers only just move.

The piano has a divided stack but the themodist only appears to connect to the bass end.

The system appears to get vacuum from 2 small bellows situated behind the equaliser, which when assembled is totally inaccessible.

Any suggestions on how one might test this operation as today it has completely fooled me and because it does not compare with any of the American brands Reblitz is of little use.
