Sandell (Mills Violano) Violin (96.09.29)
By Bill and Dee Kavouras

Sandell Violin....

We also saw the show on Personel FX with the Mills Violin on it. Looked like a violin without peg holes with a picture pasted on it. We had no idea that the picture was of Sandell. They also said that it was made by Mills Novelty Co. We also called the show and tried to get information about it, but didn't get anywhere. Didn't know that it was a special violin, just thought it was from a Violano and someone had pasted a picture on it. Had no clue to its value, but did realize that it was worth more than $15.00. Guess the Mills Novelty Co. name, and the fact that there were no strings, bridge, etc.made the appraisers think that it was just a novelty item and not a real violin.

Actually, I think it was over a year ago, as I just threw away the note a month or so ago (duh).
