Horowitz "Carmen Variations"
By Robin Pratt

The Horowitz "Carmen Variations" was inspired by "Chanson Boheme" by Moritz Moszkowski, teacher of Josef Hofmann. "Chanson Boheme" is available on Welte-Mignon and Duo-Art music rolls. Moszkowki's inspiration [was] obviously, Bizet/Carmen.

Robin Pratt

[ ideas are used again and again. But in polite company (I'm told),
[ it's called "research!" -- Robbie
