Re: Nelson-Wiggen Nickelodeons
By Lloyd Burton

I have to agree that a nickelodeon that is playing well is a piano worth hearing. I have a Nelson-Wiggen Style 8 that has Deagan xylophone bars and bells. It is amazing how N-W can alternately play bells and xylophone by using just one hole. I have played with my machine and on occations have had both instruments play at the same time. It sounds great.

I also have to agree that it is hard to find complete nickelodeon instruments for sale. I have not bought any machines for years for this fact. I went to an auction at the Tropicana hotel in Las Vegas last year and there were only two machines that had not been changed. The prices were also very high.

I have looked for a Nelson-Wiggen Style 5, but I have been unable to locate one. If I did I bet that the price would be way out of my price range.

Thanks for all the comments daily.
