Introduction
By Phil Dayson

My Name is Philip Dayson. I am a chemical engineer and live in Vancouver, B.C. (That's 150 miles north of Seattle, just north of the border.) I have been a collector for about 25 years and have an eclectic collection of music boxes, organettes, pianos, organs. Most of my collection was purchased in England where I lived for over 25 years.

I am a member of MBSI, AMICA, and the Musical Box Society of Great Britain. I am interested in pneumatic restoration although I have only ever rebuilt a few instruments. I am quite delighted to have joined this mailing list -- I only wish I had done it a long time ago.

[ Welcome to the annals of MMD, Philip! It seems that you have a bit
[ of everything in your collection. I hope the Digest will help your
[ future rebuilding projects. -- Robbie
