Wilhelm Bruder Organ and Karl Soukup System
By Philip Jamison

I own a Wilhelm Bruder organ converted in 1947 to play rolls via the Karl Soukup system. It's a very clever duplex pressure-operated roll system playing 59 notes (the organ may have originally been 61). Paul Cuocco once owned a 47-keyless Soukup organ. Does anyone know anything about Mr. Soukup (he was German, I think) or availability of rolls?

As far as a listing of all automatic organs, the F.O.P.S. has a large listing, but this barely scratches the surface. Ownership changes frequently, so it would take constant updating.
