MMD Archives March 1997 1997.03.03 02 Prev  Next Horse-drawn Calliope in New Orleans By Fritz Gellerman Dave Morecraft of Peru, Indiana had his steam calliope (in a red wagon) at the Circus Festival in Sarasota, Florida in January. In the parade it was drawn by four mules provided locally. This may be the same one that appeared in New Orleans.
