Suzuki Keyboard SKC-1000
By Jim Moore

I have a keyboard that I'd like to marry to a Roland sound module.
The problem is that I don't have the pin connections on the four-pin MIDI
connector. The keyboard has no sounds itself and so must be used with a
sound module. The owner's manual mentions a SMP-100 Midi adapter with
a Midi out, a 9-volt in and a foot switch.

What I'm asking is: does anyone out there have either the SMP-100 or
Suzuki part numbers EO-3000 or ES-2000, Suzuki interfaces or the pin out
configuration? I've tried Suzuki etc. to no avail.

Before I get accused of trying to introduce MIDI in this forum, I have a
Knabe grand with an Ampico B and a Lyon and Healy Grand with a DuoArt.
So I really am one of you! Many thanks to all that read this too long
request!

[ Take your keyboard to a local large music- and guitar-store. The
[ young staff there deal all the time with problems like you mention.
[ Go early on a week-day, otherwise wear ear protection! -- Robbie
