Weaver Player Piano
By Jim Canavan

Mark: Here's a bit of info about Weaver player pianos: Weaver Piano
company was located in York, PA, and, according to my local tuner and
player tech, made very well-built, middle-of-the-road instruments. My
player is a 1925 Weaver product, and is labeled on the soundboard "The
York Player Piano, Weaver Piano Company, York, PA." (It has been
refinished, so the fallboard decal's gone.) It's a double valve,
Standard Action pumper. Hope this helps!

By the way -- I've been searching in antique stores & shows that feature
paper collectibles for a vintage magazine ad featuring Weaver players.
I'd love to frame one and hang it near my piano. If anyone ever comes
across one, please let me know!
