Auction Results

Paris, June 1st 1997

On May 11th took place in Chartres (France, 1 hour from Paris) a
specialized sale in mechanical music (45 items). The 3 biggest pieces,
which were in good condition, were sold as follow :

Cylinder Organ Gavioli 60 keys, 4 stops (ca 1880), 86.000 FF (ca 15.000 US$)
Symphonion disc music box, diameter 64 cm, 52.000 FF (ca 9.100 US$)
Book Organ Gasparini 52 keys (many restorations), 64.000 FF (ca 11.200 US$)
