Philipps Rolls
By Peter Coggins

Hi all,

I have come across some rolls called Ducartist by Philipps. I think
they are German.

These don't play on the standard 88 note scale. They seem to have their
holes closer together and have many, what appears to be expression
holes, on both sides.

Does anybody know anything about these rolls or the players that they
were intended for?

They are for sale if anybody wants them.

I have also finished my first attempt at a small homepage, it has a few
photos of players. http://www.healey.com.au/~petergc
