To Randy and MMD readers I need to make one small correction to my posting
in MMD on 971015.  The factory really did not necessarily glue the soft
pedal unit valve assembly to the pedal valve unit.   It is usually stuck
there due to the paint on the mating surface--thus giving the effect of
glue.
