Piano Tuner's Horror Story
By Bruce Clark

In my car, I always carried an older but powerful Electrolux vacuum
cleaner. It uses disposable paper bags. My next door neighbor also has
a very similar vacuum cleaner. What apparently happened is this: My next
door neighbor ran out of paper dust bags, and "borrowed" one from the
vacuum cleaner that was in my car. She had intended to replace it the
same day.

In the meantime, I had a service call to clean a very dirty piano.
I was working away vacuuming all the dirt and dust out of the piano.
Suddenly, the customer asked me why there was a cloud of dust forming in
the adjoining room! Oh... Oh.... The dust from the piano was going in
one end of the vacuum and was being blown right out the other end into
the room! Not only did I have a piano to clean, but an entire room in
addition! Fortunately the customer was good-natured and we had a good
laugh over it.

When I got home, there was my neighbor holding up a package of
replacement paper dust bags.
