Musical Box in Movie "Seven Years in Tibet"
By Karl Petersen

The movie credits showed that this was supplied by Reuge. It was a
Debussy piece arranged with some five-note scale embellishments and
chords -- a lovely and intriguing arrangement.

I especially wondered if this part of the story was accurate in its use
of the particular music. There are not too many people to ask, other
than the two original participants!

A business associate is going to China and Taipei on Friday for a few
days. I have asked him to keep an eye out for an engaging music box,
but think he has little chance of recognizing a good one from a 17-note
toy! I wish I knew where to point him!!
