Player Tech George Baker
By Don Keil

I thought this article may be of interest; this man is one the few
real artisans and craftsmen. He built several Wurlitzer coin-operated
player harps. Of course the newspaper people play-down or are unaware
of the importance of this.

[ This article is explicitly copyrighted and so it cannot be
[ reproduced in MMD without permission. It tells about player piano
[ technician George Baker seeking donations to treat the cancer he has
[ contracted. Baker has lived in Montana for 11 years; previously he
[ had a shop in Costa Mesa, CA, and I met him there once. He is
[ universally well-liked, and is a master craftsman. -- Robbie
