Pianotist Player Action
By Brian Chesters

Hello again, I know this is a long shot, but I have just bought an
upright Pianotist player in a Pohlman piano of London. The piano is
a straight-strung vertical with candlesticks and a nice inlaid panel
to the front.

The Pianotist was fitted into the piano perhaps about 1900. There is
a description in Bowers' Encyclopedia about it. Well, I have only one
roll -- does anyone know of any others available? Also, the pedals are
missing. Are there any similar instruments in the UK so that I can copy
the pedals? (I don't suppose anyone has a set now, do they??)

There is a Weber Duo-Art in an auction this week. I only want the rolls.
is anyone interested in the player. Its located near Birmingham.
