Synthetic Ivory
By Larry Lobel

I've heard that a Japanese piano company has developed a synthetic ivory
that is identical to the real thing at a molecular level; sort of like
a cubic zirconium is to a diamond. Does anyone know more about this,
especially if it's available to buy for replacing old ivory or plastic
keytops?
