Pinblocks & Soundboards
By Scott Olson

Re Larry Toto's question: Have you consulted a technician regarding
saving the soundboard, or is it totally gone??

Soundboards _can_ be repaired, and usually easier than replacing, too.
You may have to go through a piano technician to get these parts:

The Piano Shoppe, 6825 Germantown Ave.
  Philadelphia, PA 19119 tel: (215) 848-7426
or
  Geneva International (800) 533-2388

If you need more info contact me; I know of at least 4 more suppliers.
When contacting a tech make sure they have done a _lot_ of this type of
work.
