Building Blocks for Roll Perforator
By Laurent Coray

To those who are building perforators:

Wayne Stahnke has developed Punch, a software which controls the
perforator's solenoids. Punch runs on any PC and uses standard
".WEB" and ".ANN" roll files as input. For information about Punch,
please contact Wayne Stahnke at <stahnke@idt.net>.

I am developing a solenoid driver board which is directly compatible
with Punch, available within 6 weeks from Octet Design Corp. Its main
features are: 104 outputs at up to 60 volts, 2+ amps, optically
isolated, clamp diodes ; sync switch input, for synchronizing Punch to
perforator advance ; connects to printer port of PC ; price about $450.

Please send comments, suggestions and inquiries to
