Capuchin, the Organ Grinder's Monkey
By Robbie Rhodes

This appeared in the newspaper today in the short feature "Footnotes",
by L. M. Boyd:

"Franciscan monks in the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin wear cloaks
with hoods that fall in a V over their foreheads. That's where the
organ grinder monkey got its name Capuchin. Its hair falls over its
forehead in a V like that."
