Yes, it is true: pianos that play themselves will be in a segment of
'CBS Sunday Morning' on Sunday, April 19th.

QRS Music Rolls in Buffalo, NY, hosted a film crew from 'CBS Sunday
Morning' several times, and Charles Osgood visited the factory last year
to film an interview with Bob Berkman about the history of the company,
and automatic musical instruments.  Charles Osgood also interviewed
stride pianist Judy Carmichael about her experiences of "recording"
both a piano roll and a Pianomation CD for the company.

They shot a lot of footage, and we aren't sure what is going to make
the cut, and what isn't, but it should be entertaining!  It's nice
that the world (at least the part of it that is up Sunday mornings
and watching TV) will know that pianos that play themselves are still
alive and thriving!
