'Buffalo Gals' in Movie 'High Noon'
By Johnny Lite

In the movie, High Noon, during the scene where the late Lloyd Bridges
sits in the saloon with a drink, nursing the truth about himself --
that he's not made of the same stuff the sheriff is -- an incredible
version of "Buffalo Gals" is playing in the background. It sounds like
a roll.

Anyone know anything about this, or heard a roll version of this song
just as rhythmic and syncopated? Check out the movie again and listen
for it (along with the fabulous Do Not Forsake Me) -- it's only an
hour!
