Small Musician Figures
By Julian Dyer

Anyone interested in small musician figures may like to take a look at
the new web page for MusicWorld Miniatures:

    http://www.mwm.ndirect.co.uk/

This is a one-man company, run by the brother of a friend of mine. He
makes small die-cast white metal figures, and paints them. I've been
shown one or two of these: the figures are very detailed, and the
painting is excellent.

Most of the models are of musicians and such like -- one page (piano.htm)
shows a piano with student, teacher and even a cat with its paw on the
keyboard. (Robbie - look at the 'New City Jazzmen' page!)

Very appealing stuff, and no doubt there are some models that would be
suitable for decorating instruments. The models are about 3 or 4" tall
(54 mm scale, whatever that means).

 [ It seems to be 54 mm : 1 meter, or 5.4% real-size. -- Robbie
