Value of Seeburg "B" Nickelodeon
By Don Teach

Several days ago someone asked the value of a Seeburg model "B"
nickelodeon. I saw no responses. In my opinion an unrestored
Seeburg B complete with all the original parts should bring somewhere
around 3,000 dollars in the U.S.A.

The Seeburgs were well-built instruments that can provide hundreds
of hours of enjoyment. Some of the best music for a coin piano can be
found on the "A" roll. The A-roll played 58 notes with provisions for
turning on the mandolin rail as well as one additional instrument. Of
course, it also provided an "off" hole at the end of each tune as well
as holes in the roll for the sustain pedal and soft pedal.

You can find all types of music for the A-roll from classical to
ragtime.
