Introduction & Music Box Mechanisms
By Jeff Fleisher

Hi, I am a woodcarver who has made custom jewelry boxes and humidors.
I do a type of carving called chip carving which is a decorative type
of carving. I'd like to make a music box with a disk type mechanism.
I have found a Reuge disc player mechanism in one of my woodworking
catalogs for $229 -- is this a typical price for this type of movement?
Can anyone supply some other sources for music box mechanisms? Any
help would be appreciated. thanks,

Jeff Fleisher

P.S.: If you would like to visit my web page to view my carvings,
