Replacement Piano Hammers

I used Renner hammers on my 1923 6'6" Chickering, restored in 1985.
They provide a "commanding sound" for that large instrument. I used
Ronson hammers for my 1922 5'6" J & C Fischer. They "fit" that
instruments scale.

My suggestion is: have your technician try both brands on the bass
section, using selected notes an octave apart. Your ears will tell
you which strike the strings most pleasantly for you.

Hope this helps
