Rachmaninoff Telarc CD vs. 1926 Recording

I finally got a new needle and pickup cartridge for the 78-rpm
turntable.   And so, you can find "Liebesfreud", as played by
Rachmaninoff in 1926 for Victor, at the following address:

Listen to how he plays the piece, and then compare it to Wayne Stahnke's
CD.  You'll find the match is almost exact.   The CD does indeed sound
like the ultimately cleaned-up 78.
