eBay Auction Is For the Mass Market
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All, I just had to reply to Robert Linnstaedt's statement that eBay
is "too common" for a barrel-operated band organ. It only costs two
dollars to place an ad on eBay. Hundreds of people are in eBay at any
one time. There is no better deal on the face of the earth!

There was a small monkey organ on eBay a month or so ago. A picture
showed just how battered the organ was. I thought it would be great
for taking apart and documenting how it worked. Boy did I get a shock!
It went for several thousand dollars! I thought at most it would go
for one hundred dollars.

For years I have taken my eclectic hobby items to local flea markets.
I never got the money I wanted for my possessions, until I went to
eBay. A flea market or auction has a limited time span, eBay is open
all the time, long enough to make even the most disciplined person
break down and bid!
