Gasparini Handle Reproductions
By Philip Jamison

I'm considering getting some handles cast for a barrel piano under
repair. These are a sturdy, 4-screw solid handle, the screw holes
being approximately 4 3/8" apart. I'm going to copy, I think, a fairly
ornate handle from a Gasparini barrel organ. Anyway, if anyone else
has a need, I could get additional copies made.

The foundry estimates $8-$12 each for silicone bronze (a good price,
I think). The originals were usually iron, but these could be painted
or polished. I can post a photo if desired. E-mail me if you're
interested.
