Two months ago I planned to visit British Columbia.  I posted the
question whether there is any interesting museums or private
collections concerning mechanical music instruments which my wife
and I could visit on our trip between the Sunshine Coast and the
Rocky Mountains.

Now my wife and I have returned back to Germany and we would like to
thank these many MMD friends who supported us to find the right persons
and places.

We would like to say that we enjoyed six weeks full of exiting
impressions from nature, wilderness and so many friendly and
interesting people.  And as very special highlights we remember one
afternoon with Jim Heyworth and another one with Philip Dayson, their
hospitality, their outstanding collections and their beautiful houses.

And it was the MMD, especially Robbie Rhodes and Don Mayer, to whom we
must owe these contacts!  Thank you so much Robbie, Don, Phil and Jim.
We are sorry that we could not find the time to visit all the other
interesting places and persons which you recommended -- so we have to
come to B.C. again !
