Beckman Player Piano
By Dale Houser

Thanks for the welcome and info. I'm finding some very useful info on
MMD and in the archives, as well as getting some very helpful email.

The tracker bar on my Beckman is 14 inches long by 1 inch high. It has
a total of 89 holes. Starting from the left end, the first hole is
3/32" wide by 1/8" high, and centered 1-7/8" from the left end of the
tracker bar. I believe it is for the sustain control. (I just got some
correspondence from John Tuttle that led me to finding that out.)

Then about 3/8" from the center of that hole (going to the right) the
first of the 88 holes that control the keys begin. These 88 holes are
all (as close as I can measure) about 1/16" square and slightly less
than 1/8th inch apart.

It seems that this tracker is really only capable of controlling the
keys and the sustain pedal. I'll keep you posted on my progress in
getting the Beckman back in operation.
