Value of Antique Metronome by Maelzel
By Linda Nelson, forwarded

Hi, I have been given your name by an antique dealer in Mesquite,
Texas. He said you might be able to give some information about an
old metronome which I recently inherited.

As far as I have been able to determine it was made sometime between
1816 and 1845 in Paris, France, by a man named Johann Maelzel. The
inscription on the front contains the dates, the name Maelzel, and
presumably a company name of Paquet. It also states that it was made
in Paris.

Do you have any other information available so that I might be able
to determine its value or authenticity?

Thank you very much,

Linda Nelson
