Duo-Art Theme and Accompaniment Springs
By Ray Fairfield

One of the recent AMICA magazines had a nice article on the Duo-Art
expression system, and in it I learned that the Theme and Accompaniment
regulator springs should be 0.055- and 0.049-inch springs.

The springs on my Weber grand are, apparently, not original. I have
made them work but I do not believe they are correct, and I believe
I can improve the performance of the piano by obtaining the correct
springs.

Can you offer me any advice on where I can obtain the correct springs
for this piano? I didn't find anything in the MMD archives or the
Player Piano Company catalog.

Thanks in advance.
