Mills Empress Automatic Phonograph
By Larry Mayo

The Mills Empress was manufactured in 1939, and is a beautiful example
of Art Deco styling. The down side of it is that Mills manufactured
very few boxes compared to the big four: Wurlitzer, AMI, Seeburg, and
Rockola.

There are very few replacement parts being made for them, if any
at all. If the plastic on your juke-box is bad or missing, you are
probably out of luck. I just attended the large juke-box show in
Chicago, and the literature which I picked up lists nothing from the
big suppliers for Mills machines.

A service manual is available from Always Jukin'. They may be
contacted at http://alwaysjukin.com/
