Source of Reed Material for Organ Pipes
By Jurgen Goering

Bill Finch wrote that pipe organ reeds are made of soft brass.
I always thought they were made of brass that was hardened by
annealing or rolling.

Does anyone know of a source for hardened brass suitable for
making reeds? Can anyone share their experiences making reeds?
