Duo-Art Artist Harold Bauer
By Ray Bauer

Dan Wilson inquired (991213 MMDIgest):

> Did Edison commission private recitals or were they friends ?

Bauer makes no mention of Thomas Edison in "Harold Bauer, His Book",
W.W. Norton & Company, Inc. New York, NY 1948. Vail-Ballou Press

The note from the Scriabin mailing list said:

> Harold Bauer writes: "The composer Scriabin was good friend of mine
> and had frequently visited me in Paris ...

Bauer also makes reference to Scriabin when describing an auditorium in
Cleveland, Ohio.

As Harold Bauer's first cousin, twice removed, I remember no comments
made about Edison from any family relative.

Regards,
Ray Bauer
