Plans for CNC Hobby Milling Machine
By Mickey Sadler

Hello All. Happy New Year to everyone. For an interesting
X-Y hobby "mill" check the site at
http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/drigotti/HobbyCNC.htm

This gentleman sells a set of plans for about $30.00 for a hobby CNC
mill. The pictures look interesting. Features include: 9"x24"x1" cut
area from a 15" x 34" footprint, open ends allow unlimited stock length,
uses Dremel-type rotary tool, vacuum part piece hold-down, ...

They also sell the controller board kits and pieces and parts to build
with. There are some interesting links on the page also. Even if this
unit can't be used to punch music, the CNC cutting of parts might be
useful in our mechanical music hobbies.

Usual disclaimer: I have no interest in this company other than
possibly buying the plan set and giving it a try.

Later,
