I was made aware of Charlie Boop's piano going to auction at
Hood and Sons Art & Antique Auctions in Delray Beach, Florida,
tel. 561-278-8996, http://www.hoodauction.com/

Charlie was a long-time AMICA member who is closing out his household
due to age.  The piano was rebuilt by Alan Lightcap, and is refinished.
It is a late A Ampico (1929), Marshall & Wendell in Italian art case.
Not sure of the size, but it is a large piano.  I'm told it plays well.

There will be a picture of the piano on the web site.  Questions can
be directed next week to <info@hoodauction.com>.  I know nothing further
about the piano.
