See the Web Sites, Hear the Sounds
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All, For months I have been toying with the idea of making a
machine that plays strings with air jets instead of hammers. I was
looking for some way of making sounds without using organ pipes or
reeds. Well, today I found it has been done already to some degree.

The unit is called a Aeolian Harp. The unit is placed in a window or
somewhere air flows. The air flowing through the unit vibrates strings
which cause sound. This seems to be a really old idea! For more info
and some other fun, check out the following links.
