Showing Silent Movies at Home
By Harvey Roehl

We have a Style 25 Fotoplayer and I can play it from the keyboard.
We have a nice library of Super-8 silent films, and it's always a big
hit when we perform with a typical classic like Laurel and Hardy's
'The Music Box.'

A source of films is Dave Thomas Films, RD 4, Box 130A, Greensburg PA
15601. They have a wide variety, and the also have accessories like
projector bulbs, etc. I don't have a phone number, so write for their
latest catalog.

We use the Super-8 format. A used projector shouldn't be too hard to
find. Try the classified ads in your local Pennysaver. I think we
found ours through a bulletin board posting a friend made at his place
of employment.

So there it is, John McClure, and any others faced with this problem.
Have fun!

Harvey Roehl
