I am sorry for the suppliers of player piano materials.  Personally
I have had an excellent business relationship with Schaff and Player
Piano Co.  If I had a problem, they were always ready to take back or
replace the material.

There is only one supplier to them for cloth.  If you were a
manufacturer today, would you want to gear up a plant for the small
player piano market?  Even in the 'twenties there were few suppliers
of cloth -- I know of only two in the USA.  Today there no suppliers
in the USA to my knowledge.

Antique radio collectors and vintage guitar amp collectors (me) have
a tough time finding tubes.  No one makes them in the USA.  As far as
everything one company sells is crap -- I disagree.  I have been very
explicit in my needs and get what I want or I am told no one makes it.

We all have skeletons in the closet, or should I say "Don't cast that
first stone?"
