Moving Grand Piano in Chevy Van
By Wayne Boksa

Moving a grand piano in a G series van, the grand must be clamped to
the skid and moved a little toward the clamp edge. The piano is put
in on the drivers side, tipped up, and pushed in as far as it will go,
then tipped to right and pushed in to rest on the spare tire. A angle
iron strapped to the piano on this side prevents damage.

Wayne Boksa

P.S. A block of wood on drivers side wheel well will prevent the grand
from slipping off the spare tire.
