Exhauster Flap Valves
By Julian Brook

Can anyone give me a good description of the outside flap valves on
the main pump bellows on a Standard Player action? They are gone and
I need to fabricate. It appears that there were three tacks holding
the upper edge, the leather flap, and a light wire spring at the lower
end to hold it closed. It covers four holes in the back of the
bellows.

Is there a metal plate on the leather? Any descriptions would be
helpful. (Reblitz has good pictures of almost everything but that.)

Also, the large flange elbow at the extreme left end upper, which
looks like just a metal casting (which Player Piano supply seems to
have various sizes of). Is it?

Mucho thanks. :-)
