Hammond Model BA Player Organ
By Luis Delfino

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hello, I need some advice, if you can help me. I've come across
a Hammond model BA, which is an electric organ with an Aeolian player
mechanism attached. If you've never dealt with one, that wouldn't be
odd -- there were less than 200 built over the course of 1938.

I'm wondering if this is a job I might be likely to complete successfully
with not a lot of experience. I've been told that the pump functions,
so could it be a case of rotten hoses? If it is, I think I can do it.
I know the Aeolian player has never been worked on, so no one else has
ever screwed it up, and the organ itself works.

What's the most likely problem? I'm trying to decide if this is a job
worth attempting, and any experience or commentary would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Luis Delfino
