Leonard Player Piano
By Mark Adkins

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I just became the proud owner (or storage) of a Leonard & Co. piano.
Rumor has is that this used to be a player piano, but it is no longer.
The player mechanism has, sadly, been removed. I'm curious if it is
possible to restore that capability and looking for any information
I can find.

The piano is a Leonard and is stamped here and there with different
numbers. There is one stamped into the frame for the strings that
I would guess is the serial number 114456. The number stamped into
the wood underneath is 25145. I'm looking for any information I can
find on the piano, as well as any source of parts or any other starting
point. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've been a player piano fan all my life and this is as close as I've
been able to get to owning one.

Thanks in advance,
Mark Adkins
