Seek Metal Otto Higel Player Action Parts
By Adam G. Ramet

Hi, I am restoring a Gilbert player which has a Higel-type wooden
stack with two metal suction blocks at each end. These blocks channel
the suction from the opening in the keybed to the two decks. There is
one at each end.

One is irreparably cracked through the usual intergranular corrosion
found in pot metal. It's warped and shattered several times over and
can't be repaired with epoxy or anything like that.

Does anyone have a spare pair off an old stack at all? Apart from that
all is okay. If anyone has a spare Higel transmission I have received
a request through my own web site for one also. All information
gratefully received!

Yours sincerely

Adam Ramet
