MBSI Mid-Am Band Organ Rally 21-23 July 2000
By Tim Trager

This year's Mid-Am Band Organ Rally is shaping up to be another
great event, and many fine band organs and monkey organs are expected!
The rally will be held on Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23.
The best days in my opinion will be Friday and Saturday.

The rally will be held at Crossroads Village in Flint, Michigan. Check
out the following web site for maps and Crossroads Village details:

  http://www.geneseecountyparks.org/crossroadsvillage.htm

Crossroads Village is a beautiful setting with restored buildings,
a beautiful vintage carousel with a band organ (of course!), a great
large scale steam train, and an excursion boat. It is the perfect site
for a rally! Anyone can attend the rally by paying the admission to
Crossroads Village. Only registered attendees will be allowed to go
to the rally mart on Saturday morning.

If you have never attended an organ rally mart, then you have really
missed out -- in my opinion, these are the _best_ marts! In fact,
the mart is the best kept secret for those of us "in the know".
At such marts you can easily find band organ and nickelodeon rolls,
animated organ figures, out of print catalogs and books such as
"Treasures of Mechanical Music", band organ recordings, and Band
organs! Music boxes! Plus much more!

So if you have nothing to do this weekend, hop in your car, jet,
or private yacht and head over to the Mid-Am Band Organ Rally
at Crossroads Village!
